Delivery and Planting

We understand that your time is valuable, which is why we are pleased to offer delivery and planting services to make your life easier and to help get the job done.

DELIVERY: Our minimum delivery charge for plant material is $75.00 within the City of Ottawa. This is for either front or backyard delivery. As long as there is clear and level access to the specified area, we will place the item where indicated by the customer. This is at the discretion of the delivery driver and if there are any obstructions not previously indicated, the item will be placed as close as possible to the original location. With this being said, larger items will be placed directly beside a pre-dug hole and not in the hole. Final measurements need to be done before placing a tree in the hole, which is the responsibility of the customer.

Hard goods such as interlock stone, boulders, flagstone, bulk soil bags, or any other large items that require to be delivered on a skid are front yard delivery only. The skids will be placed on the driveway and we are unable to remove any items from their skids. The minimum charge for these items is $125.00 within the City of Ottawa.

The delivery charge for bulk soil, stone, sand, or mulch is $110.00 for up to 10 yards. Please call for quotes on orders larger than 10 yards. Unfortunately there is no way to separate items in the truck, so each item would result in a $100.00 delivery charge. All bulk products will be dumped in the driveway only.

Bagged products such as salt, soil, mulch, or stone, etc... would result in a minimum delivery charge of $40.00. These items are curbside delivery only.

PLANTING: For all plantings, there must be a clearance of at least 84" high and 36" wide to accommodate equipment. Backyard plantings are possible as long as there is clear and level access without steps or other obstructions. The owner is responsible for any and all post planting requirements such as watering, fertilizing, and water protection if needed. Planting charges include additional soil if needed, transplanter fertilizer, and bonemeal. If the tree needs to be staked we will do so at no additional charge if the customer purchases the stakes required. Delivery is included in the cost of the planting.

Delivery and Planting charges are not refundable as they represent a one-time fee for services provided. However, if the customer presents the original receipt showing payment of the delivery or planting for a item included under the 1 year plant guarantee, the replacement plant will be delivery or planted at no charge. Plant and Pest Identification

If you have a pest or fungus attacking any of your plant material, whether it is outdoors or indoors, we can help. Bring us a small piece of the infected plant or the insect itself in a clear container and our knowledgeable staff will be able to identify the problem and offer recommendations to treat it.
