1- year guarantee on nursery stock
To our retail customers we offer a 1 year guarantee on evergreens, shrubs, roses, vines, and trees. Items not guaranteed include annuals, perennials, water plants, fruit bushes, cedar hedging, and sod. This guarantee is valid for 1 year from the date purchased.If your plant dies during that first year, you must present both the dead plant and the original receipt (credit card and bank statements are not accepted) to obtain your credit. For larger items we ask that you either cut them off at ground level and bring them in or contact us to send photos by email. The guarantee holds no cash value and we will replace the plant once with a credit note for the original retail price including tax. When using your credit, please be aware that the exact variety, size, or price of plant you originally purchased may not be available. Any plant material purchased on sale or promotion still applies under the 1 year guarantee but only for the price that was paid. Any plant material purchased using a wholesale account is not guaranteed.
5- year guarantee on nursery stock
Ritchie’s now offers an optional 5 year guarantee on the plants that carry a regular 1 year guarantee as listed above. In order to qualify for this program, simply purchase the appropriate amount of MYKE tree and shrub growth supplement for the plants being planted, plant the plants as outlined in the MYKE planting instructions, and maintain proper care for the plants. MYKE tree and shrub growth supplement MUST be used at time of planting to be effective and for the 5 year plant guarantee to be applicable.

Fish are guaranteed for 50% of the value paid within 3 days of purchase with receipt.
Delivery/Planting Charges
Delivery and Planting charges are not refundable as they represent a one-time fee for services provided. However, if the customer presents the original receipt showing payment of the delivery or planting for a item included under the 1 year plant guarantee, the replacement plant will be delivery or planted at no charge.
Holding Policy
We can hold any item for 24 hours without a deposit. If the item has been paid for in full, we will hold it for 5 days.
Refund Policies
Plant material can be returned for refund within 5 days, as long as it is in saleable condition and is in its original pot with all the appropriate labels. Hard goods may be returned within 30 days as long as they are in saleable condition. Any item not accompanied with its original proof of purchase (receipt) will result in a store credit.
There is no return on Bulk Deliveries, Sod, or Nematodes.
Interlock ReturnsAny returns on delivered stone products will be subject to a 25% re-stocking fee, plus shipping costs. Returns on stone or interlock that was picked up in our yard is also subject to a 25% re-stocking fee.

All prices, sizes, and availability are subject to change without notice. Any price lists and quotations are based on the most current information available and are also subject to change without notice.
We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Debit, and Cash.
Employment
Our retail locations are open year round, however our garden centers are open from Spring until Fall. As such we hire 30-40 seasonal employees beginning in March. All positions require working flexible hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
