We introduced our Garden club six years ago and are very proud to have over 2600 members. Our Garden club is a free club for gardeners where you can join up and be notified of all our special events. In addition to this, as a member you also get invited to all of our monthly seminars. Our points program rewards your purchases with the ability to earn gift certificates, the more you purchase in a year, the more you get back. From January to December, if you spend between $300-$500, you will receive a gift certificate based on a 3% rebate, if you spend between $500-$700, you will receive a 3.5% rebate, and finally if you spend between $700-$1000 and up, you will receive a 4% rebate.

Seminars
All our seminars take place at our flagship store located at 1390 Windmill Lane, Ottawa. There's always something new to learn so feel free to bring a friend, we just ask that you reserve a spot by either emailing gardenclub@ritchiefeed.com, calling 613-741-4430 or our web form. Please remember to register as we need to make sure we have enough seats and seminars without enough interest may be cancelled. Annual & Perennial Containers | Thursday May 12, 2011
Does your front step or patio need some colour? Want to create those beautiful planters you see in magazines and on tv? Well then this is the seminar for you. Darrell Kekanovich will be here to answer any questions you may have and also give you design ideas for creating planters. From how many plants are needed to maintaining them once you have your final creation, Darrell will be able to cover it all. This seminar will run from 7-8pm.

Usually your lawn is the first thing that people notice, it can enhance or take away from the rest of your property. Basically your lawn is one large plant that needs a lot of attention. From watering and fertilizing, to weed and insect control, it can get very confusing which is best applied when. Luckily, Neill Ritchie will be here to offer help and suggestions. As soon as the Bulbs show up, we all start thinking about fall. We have the largest selection of bulbs in the city, many of which come in from Holland. Now is the time to plant to add beautiful spring colour to your flower beds. There are also many bulbs that you can force for use in indoor pots as well. Once the leaves begin to fall, we know it's time to start getting your garden ready for the long cold days of winter. From pruning back your perennials and wrapping up trees and shrubs, we have all the products and information you will need to make sure your plants survive the winter. This seminar will run from 2-3pm and will be hosted by Neill Ritchie.
