An early Copenhagen type producing solid, round heads on small compact plants. Earliest to mature with excellent bolting resistance. Heads weigh about 2kg (4.4lbs) and grow to about 15-17cm (6-61/2") in diameter. Tolerates closer spacing and is an excellent choice for poorer soils. Yellows resistant.
HOW TO GROW

300 seeds/gram Sow seed indoors in a soil-less mix 5 weeks before last frost date. Sow seed 6mm (1/4") deep and keep at 20C (70F) for the 7-10 day germination period. Grow on at a slightly cooler temperature then harden off and plant outside in late May. Space plants 45cm (18") apart in rows with the rows 75cm (30") apart.
