Description

A handsome purple variety with a white, crisp, mild tasting interior. An excellent companion plant amongst cucumbers. Irrigation is essential for best growth. Withstands considerable frost. When conditions are not too cool or too hot, crops can be harvested as little as six to eight weeks after sowing. Try successive sowing from April to August.

315 seeds/gram Sow from late April to late July 1cm (1/2″) deep and 2.5cm (1″) apart in rows spaced 30-45cm (12-18″) apart. Thin 10cm (4″) apart.
