BIOPROTEC Codling Moth Trap

The Bioprotec Codling Moth Trap is specially designed to capture the codling moth (Cydia pomonella), one of the most common pests in apple and pear orchards. This trap uses a shell or bag in combination with a pheromone lure (sold separately) to effectively monitor and control moth populations without chemicals.

Uses

• Install 1 trap per tree or every 5–10 m in orchards, beginning in early spring when moths first fly.

• Insert a specific pheromone lure (sold separately) inside the trap.

• Hang at foliage height in a location protected from rain.

• Check traps daily and replace the collection bag/shell when full, or at least once per season.
