Our Maya Indoor & Deciduous Bonsai Blend is designed to support the delicate roots and refined growth of bonsai species grown indoors or in temperate climates.

This soil mix offers excellent structure and drainage while holding just enough moisture to keep your trees thriving in containers.

Whether you're shaping a Ficus or nurturing a Japanese Maple, this peat-free blend supports healthy root development, aeration, and seasonal adaptability.

Size:
Small/3 Litres: Enough to fill 5x nursery pots (4 in) & 1x nursery pot (6in).

How to Use:

• Repot bonsai every 1–2 years (or as needed).

• Remove old soil, trim roots carefully, and reset in fresh Maya Bonsai Blend.

• Water thoroughly and allow excess to drain.

• Place in bright, indirect light and monitor moisture.
   

💡 For optimal root health, let the top layer dry slightly between waterings.

Ingredients:

• Calcinated Clay – holds moisture without becoming soggy; great for indoor or seasonal climates
• Charcoal Bits – improves drainage, supports soil microbes, and helps prevent souring
• Fir Bark Fines (1/8–1/4") – adds organic structure and promotes fine root development
• Maya General Mix – provides a balanced, structured base with light moisture retention
• Medium Pumice – improves drainage and root aeration
