GARDEN CENTER YARD LABOURER (SEASONAL)
Position: Part-time | Full-time
We are looking to add to our Retail team for the 2026 season!
We are currently looking for laborers to assist in the day-to-day operations of the garden center.
We are seeking energetic, hardworking, and knowledgeable team members to assist in our garden centers.
Description
This position is part of the Garden Centre team and falls under the direction of the Garden Center Manager.
This position consists of providing excellent customer service to our customers while also providing support with day-to-day garden center operations.
Activities and responsibilities
• Unload and load delivery vehicles.
• Load customer's products in their vehicles when needed.
• Merchandise plants and products.
• Provide care for plants (watering)
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Maintain a clean and safe workplace.
• Any other related tasks as determined by the Garden Center Manager.
• Support Garden Centre staff as required.
Qualifications
• Experience working with the public in a retail setting.
• Bilingualism is an asset.
• Ability to lift heavy loads repetitively.
• Ability to work outside in all weather conditions.
• Ability to follow directions.
• Ability to work in a team setting, and independently.
• Must be flexible with working weekends, weekdays and evenings.

HORTICULTURAL SALES ASSOCIATE (SEASONAL)

We are seeking energetic, hardworking, and knowledgeable team members to assist customers and the garden center team with day-to-day operations.
Description
This position is part of the Garden Centre team and falls under the direction of the Garden Center Manager.
This position consists of providing excellent customer service to our customers while also providing support with day-to-day garden center operations.
Activities and responsibilities
• Answer customer inquiries.
• Answer Garden Centre phone calls.
• Give recommendations to clients regarding plants and other garden-related products.
• Merchandise products.
• Maintain a clean and safe workplace.
• Handpicking plant material based on Landscaper’s order requests.
• Handpicking plants for online orders.
• Preparing plants for customer deliveries.
Periodic Responsibilities
• Assist in quarterly inventories.
• Support Retail Staff as required (Labourers & Cashiers).
• Unload incoming deliveries.
• Any other related tasks as determined by the Garden Centre Manager.
Qualifications
• Horticultural Diploma / Certificate or relevant experience in the field of horticulture
• Retail and/or Customer service experience is an asset.
• Bilingualism is an asset.
• Good knowledge of trees, shrubs, evergreens, vines, annuals, and perennials, as well as their characteristics.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience working with the public in a retail setting.
• Ability to follow directions and stay on task.
• Ability to work in a team setting, and independently.

We are seeking energetic and hardworking to take care of our plants by watering them daily as well as merchandising them.
Description
The garden center waterer’s main focus is to support the garden center staff by watering our plant products in the garden center.
The secondary focus of this position is to provide support to the rest of the garden center staff in their day-to-day operations.

Forklift Labourer (Interlock / Warehouse) (Seasonal)
Position: Part-time | Full-time
We are currently looking for warehouse labourers to assist with day-to-day operations in our warehouse.
We are seeking energetic and hardworking team members to support our existing team with incoming and outgoing deliveries.
Description
This position is part of the logistics team and falls under the direction of the Warehouse Manager.
This position consists of providing logistical support to our existing team and preparing deliveries to our other locations and our clients.
Activities and responsibilities
• Unload incoming orders.
• Load customer vehicles.
• Clean and load delivery vehicles.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Maintain a clean and safe workplace.
• Picking orders for other stores & customers
• Any other related tasks as determined by the Warehouse Supervisor
Periodic Responsibilities
• Help drivers deliver products.
• Assist in quarterly inventory.
• Support Store staff as required.
Qualifications

• Previous forklift training/certification is an asset but not required.

DZ TRUCK DRIVER
This position involves driving a DZ Class truck or van to deliver plant materials and other products to customers and various Ritchie stores.
Activities and Responsibilities
Perform duties with due regard to policy and procedures established by the Company.
Drive the truck with due regard to the safety of the driver and those around him or her.
Perform safety and circle checks on the truck on a daily basis before using.
Keep the vehicle clean and in good order.
Report anomalies to supervisor.
Plan trip and prepare for delivery.
Deliver products with excellent customer service.
Perform duties with due regard for the policies and procedures established by the Company.
Qualifications
DZ License
Minimum of 2 years’ experience driving trucks
Clean driving record (CVOR)
Skills/Abilities
Ability to plan trips efficiently.
Good communication Skills
Bilingualism (French/English) is an asset
